Neves & Ferrão celebrates 6 years of partnership with CENFIC

After 6 years, Neves & Ferrão continues to receive interns from CENFIC, this time in the Department of Electricity and Telecommunications.

Neves & Ferrão signed a protocol with CENFIC - Centro de Formação Profissional da Indústria da Construção Civil e Obras Públicas do Sul in 2013, and it was in that same year that the first two interns, aspiring masons arrived. The success of the initiative resulted in the integration of one of the two interns into the company's staff. Since then the partnership has been maintained.

In May this year, Neves & Ferrão received another intern from CENFIC, this time in the Department of Electricity and Telecommunications.

This particular internship is carried out within the scope of the Practical Training in Work Context subject to the CENFIC Electrical Installations Technical Course. The practical part of the internship, held at Neves & Ferrão - Electricity, is divided into 5 periods of 2-3 months, distributed between May 2019 and March 2021.

The second period of the internship began on the 28th of October and ends on the 13th of December.

During this period, the intern will be availed in various fields, namely the level of knowledge and skills, quality and organization of work, work rate and dexterity, autonomy / initiative / creativity and application of hygiene and safety rules. Teamwork and interpersonal relationship skills will be evaluated. Finally, in the trainee's behavioral area, the sense of responsibility, professional participation and adaptation, personal presentation and punctuality and attendance are evaluated.
